Our mission
To walk alongside the Vietnamese community in Orange County toward peace through health and social support, in Vietnamese, with respect and without judgment.
Founding story
Bình An was founded in 2013 by a group of Vietnamese volunteers in Westminster who saw elders and newly arrived families unable to access healthcare because of language barriers. They started by helping a few seniors fill out Medi-Cal forms in a small room on Bolsa Avenue — and quickly realized the need was far larger: from mental health counseling to immigration navigation. More than a decade later, we have grown into a health and social support hub serving thousands each year, with bilingual staff across Westminster, Garden Grove, and Santa Ana. The name 'Bình An' — meaning peace — is the foundation of everything we do: we do not 'rescue' anyone; we walk alongside them toward peace.

Our office sits in Westminster, the heart of Little Saigon — the largest Vietnamese community outside Vietnam. Every program is shaped by the real voices and needs of the community, not by a template from afar.
